Hi Trident, what a great idea, you may have to panel beat it to get the depth to pu the cutout back on top due to the contour , but good thinking. stick some pics up when you do it as it may help others. Steve

hi Stevie, I was keen to go with this option, I even had the tank bolted in the required position, but i was just not happy having the filler in the speed hump and it was not going to have a good finished look, unless i paid for a professional "Fix" . Have you been able to get yours completed?

Everything is finished except the hood cut, will do this as soon as the hood is in its final position. Should be about 10 days time.

Any pictures of the cut process and finished flap? My confidence needs a nudge before I take saw to GRP!
