Well, i just heard back from Austin, and they didn't say no, they haven't said yes either. They asked for some more pictures and information. Not over yet.

I just got my information sent off to Austin, patiently waiting a reply now. Sounds like this is the final say so in the process so fingers crossed.

Best of luck. I just don't understand why Texas, of all places, would discourage (outlaw) kit cars, etc. Hopefully, things go in your favor.

Well...years later...I have an Exocet registered, in Texas, as an assembled vehicle. It sure was a fight. I am working on documentation and notes of the process to aid future Texans.
