Are you sure you don't have time to do the last bits? I think your car is worth more as it stands and it would be worth maybe £5000 more when finished and road legal.
I'm almost sad that I bought a Riot (although it's extraordinary) - I would have been very pleased to buy your car. The Kawasaki motor is much better than most of the tired R1s fitted to BECs.
Good luck.

Yes I was advised that the zx10 was a very good engine light powerful.im afraid it's a few circumstances that's causing me to sell its a bargain as it is as I've a lot more in it and it's really a very different rocket to any that's out there.
I'll be gutted to see it go but needs must and is defo love to do another maybe in the future.

Money could be a primary driver, but you could send it to someone like the Scottish kit car centre, have them IVA it, and sell it for more road-legal. Shame really.

It's just the catch 22 do I spend more money on the car then try to get more for it when I sell it??? Or let it go at a good price now and let the new owner finish it how they want it...

Definitely worth thinking about; maybe send images and a to-do list to 3 IVA finishers; there are a ton of them in the back of complete kit car, and find out how much they'd charge to get it on the road. If you can rustle up that money, and it's less than the increase in selling value, it's worth doing. Most kit cars don't end up much like the ones that leave the IVA centres anyway; there's a brutal speed bump at the exit (strangely not as issue on the way in) where a ton of stuff just falls off into the road...
