Hi Jeff, thanks for the praises, had visitors over the weekend so not able to photo details as per your requests but I promise, first chance I get I will do so. Having seen CKC exocet at Stoneleigh and spoke to John thingyens on the stand I wouldn`t recommend the flush fitting Aero latches as John had a nightmare trying to do the cutouts without chipping the fiber glass and that lads an expert. They do look good and we have used some pipe clips as hinges for the bonnet. I will post pictures as soon as possible. Do not forget to replace the water pump as they are prone to going if your donor has been standing for some time and so easy to do before you put new chassis on. regards Ted. P.S. Copying is the best form of flattery.

Hi Bloby, tell you what, the amount of heat generated by the engine and radiator I think if you could devise a simple vent just underneath the rear of the bonnet then deflect it down, your tootsies will be like toast. You just need some simple flap to block it off in the summer.

Hi, Do you have some pictures of how you made the fuel entry on top instead of on the side? KR Tristan

Hi Tristan, your english is superior to my Flemish. It`s a bit difficult to take a picture as it`s quite involved to remove cover, basically I blanked off the original entry with a piece of original fuel pipe blanked off with a brazed end cap short piece of hoseand 2 clips. I then purchased an aero cap which came with a funnel shaped receptor which attached to the old carbon canister return which is central to the tank. The height of this is critical as the lip must sit flush with the inside of the rear boot. If your happy to give me your Email address I will get my friend to draw the arrangement and Email it to you, regards Ted
