Clutch master.. pull pin for cly. rod to clutch pedal put pin back into pedal unit so you don't loose it.. Remove hard line from cly. 10mm line wrench.. remover cly. from firewall 12mm nuts.Drain put cly and nuts in plastic bag.. remove hard line, rubber hose and clips.

smithers.. Like the use of the MEV emblem on the nose it pulls the whole front together/flows..easy on the eye.. nice build..

Taking the body off the MX5 tomorrow any advice ? It's not heavy, but it's awkward. I used an engine crane and lifting chain bolted into the seat mounting points to take the main weight, then just need 1 person on the crane and one at one end of the car to stabilise as you lift. Make sure all earth straps and exhaust rubbers are off, gearlever trims etc.

Think the manual states 14 securing bolts, but being an NB, you may also find 2 extra surprises in the form of this U-shape strap on the rear sub-frame.
