Sway bar now looks finished off.. were did you get the covers from for the hardware.. Think the lights will look better up front too. Hardware from eBay. |

Nose cone riv nut mountings installed, started drilling holes for mounting headlamps on front corner (but need a bigger drill bit)  Won't reassemble the front end until the radiator is raised higher (50mm) for increased ground clearance. Planning on a combined LED Indicator / Sidelight to complete front end lighting. |

Exhaust centre section modified to make a little bit more parallel to the back end and reflector fitted.  Next job will be mounting rear lamp brackets (to IVA requirements)  |

Planning on a combined LED Indicator / Sidelight to complete front end lighting. What indicator / side lights you thinking off. I have the same headlights so need a combined unit ideally. |

Nice units but will you be able to see them from rear of car.. I think it is 45deg out.. The end doesn't seem to show to the rear..

Just reread. I can't see reference to that in Section 22 or 23 ? Or am I missing something?

Both the side lights and indicators should be visible 80 degrees outwards and 45 degrees inwards if you look at the tables at the bottom of chapters 22 and 23 under the column 'angles of visibility'

You may need an extra set of reflectors as im pretty sure where they are at the moment is more than 400mm from the edge of the car.

Hi Tim,
I looked at these indicator / sidelights but if you notice the indicator is the inside portion of the housing and the sidelight the outer. I asked the guy if this was the case and he said they were as the foto. That seemed wrong to me so I didn't bother. There are some nice ones from Kellermann but they are expensive. I can't remember but I think I found another set similar to the ones you found but the right way round that weren't too expensive. I think the Kellermann ones are PL-1000 or similar.

Revised radiator bracket to lift the radiator up 50mm  First trial bonnet bracket...work in progress  Radiator and bonnet brackets fitted  Revised bend location required for mark 2  Bonnet bracket made for dashboard end. |
