Hi guys, this is my first ever post!! i have taken so many ideas and tips from this forum so i thought i would say big thanks to you all. I've currently reached a bit of a problem and cannot work out how to fit the rear wing stays has anybody managed to fit the new rear wing stays to a 1.6 without the handy stub? keep looking at it and can't decide what to do, any ideas would be appreciated. ybot19 (Toby)

It's perhaps not the problem that you've hit (yet?) but at the time of my kit the stays were designed for a 1.8 with bigger brakes - I nibbled a crescent out of the rear ones... mevowners.proboards.com/thread/4825/yorkie-novice-build?page=8I think there has been a previous (older) UK build that had no stubs, but 'fraid I can't remember which one. PS. It'd be worth putting your done model info in your 'signature' to help people help you on any future queries.

Thanks for the heads up! although i just put one of the stays in situ and it looks as if there will be plenty of clearance at the caliper end. Its just the problem of having nothing to attach the stay to where the stub should be.
