Boileralum where you based out of? I am in NW Ohio south of Findlay. Didn't know of any others close other than MI guys and Einy in OH. Glad you got it running. I'm trying to sort a hesitation issue before my first trackday in it June 6th at Mid Ohio

Zeitgeist,
What 'organization' are you planning to run with at Mid Ohio ?? I've inquired with 10/10th Motorsports down here in Cincinnati area, who run trackday programs at Putnam in IN and at the Corvette Museum track in KY, but they won't let an 'open wheel' car run due to liability reasons. Who did your find that will let an Exocet run?

I'm trying to sort a hesitation issue before my first trackday in it June 6th at Mid Ohio East side of Indianapolis. Hoping to make it to the Toledo ProSolo the weekend after that (6/10-12), if I can make it to a local event before then to shake it down.

FWIW, NASA has classed the Exocet in TT/ ST, so it should be able to run their HPDEs also. You can also do Track Night in America events - there is one coming up at Putnam Park west of Indianapolis on 6/13.

I am running with 3balls racing. I ran with these guys for years but not in the last 2 years. I sent the head guy, Ken, an email with pictures and details of the car and build. He runs a very similar open wheel car he built from scratch using Corvette parts but mid engine. Check out their site or facebook page. www.3ballsracing.com/forumGreat group to run with. Very family oriented, strict enough with rules to be safe but not so strict to take the fun out of events. MAybe if you can make it and Rich Boileralum to the June 6th trackday at Mid Ohio we could have 3 Exocets there.

I ran across their site last year when searching for events at Grattan, which is a very fun track to run (albeit really in the middle of nowhere).

I love Grattan. The jump, the bowl everything but the long straight since i never had a car with enough power to satisfy me. Grand Rapids is close enough to Grattan and is decent with some things to do for the wife and has an awesome Tapas place plus a really nice bed and breakfast we do.

I pretty much failed at keeping up the build thread, but how about a video of the car in action?

Thanks! I am very pleased with the colors considering I picked them solely by looking at them on a computer monitor.

Race Technology Dash2. IT will be talking to the MSPNP Pro via CAN once I program the dash to do so.
