Still looking good on the details of the build. Now that you are farther along can you comment on where the seat would hit the chassis or tunnel or both when the seat is moved forward and backward? This is the Kirkey 17" Intermediate road race seat with side mounts and ____ which slider? just to refresh the memories from earlier in your build thread correct? It looks like the mid part of the seat bolster is close to hitting the outer chassis tubes but the is a little room away from the tunnel for the bottom bolster(s) but it is tough to tell from the pics. Thanks for sharing so many details and great pics.

It's a corbeau double locking slider. It works full range of motion fore/aft, though its tight full aft, due to the curve of the outer chassis tubes. The seat is positioned in such a way to give it full range of adjustment, its dead center between the tubes and tunnel.

Any plans to put in a passenger seat? If so, might want to be careful around the edge of sheet metal on tunnel. Pretty tight to the seat lower cushion, as I found out today with the Corbeau Forza I have.

Yes, passenger seat is going in tonight, actually. It will be fixed mounted because of the battery and no need for a slider. I took the car around the block today, first drive. This thing is STUPID FAST. Much faster then my 9.9 second 1/4 mile camaro I had. Very excited to get an exhaust and tune on it.

This guy followed me home today, just got to get it washed and stickered up. First track day is Sunday, exhaust and tune will have to wait. Open headers and hearing loss ftw!

Little progress on the pass seat. Finish it later. Belts, cover, and all. It's a 14x7 trailer.

Trailer is a nice addition. Any idea what it weighs? With the trailer being 14' long inside will that leave much room for tools and equipment inside or do you use the truck bed? Did you go with the same 17" seat on the passenger side after the challenge getting the drivers seat in?

The exo is 11'8 inches long with nosecone. There's plenty of space, especially if you mount boxes to the wall. Pass seat is the same size. It's a lot easier without the slider to fit the seat. You could probably fit an 18 if you wanted to mount one without a slider.

Both seats in. Pass seat is the thickness of a slider lower. Mirror in, cockpit view Time to go racing.

First, the inner bar on the passenger side wont be compatible with the long tubes, so it was removed. I will have to relocate it at a later date. Small cheese. I know this is digging up old material, but I'm curious which bar you're referring to. My best guess is that you're talking about this one: Did you end up relocating the tube, or are you just running without? Car looks awesome. I agree with the others that have posted -- the unruly mob demands track video!
