Yay! Another British builder! :-)
There are some very smart engineers offering their experienced advice on this forum and their contributions and stories made my build so much easier and more fun. I'm sure you'll enjoy your new project. Good luck.

Jamie.. Welcome to the forum.. Now the fun has started.. Any questions just ask.. Label all connectors both sides, spray down and wire brush all threads before trying to remove nuts, Use 6 point sockets on all rusted bolt/nuts.. Make notes and take pics..There are about 9 ground points for harness around the car red flag each. Have fun enjoy walk away when you need to do something else on car.. Put the year and engine size in profile to show in each post it helps with trouble shooting help..

I'm in Arnold Nottingham and I am very lucky to have another MEV Exocet parked in my garage for reference over the past few days I have managed to get the floors in place also have the main spine ( think they call it that ) bolted to rear sub frame and front subframe with engine and gear box with new clutch, not figured out yet how to upload photos. Just waiting on the fuel lines then I can flip it over and start bolting it back together. Can't thank you enough for all your helps and tips it's much appreciated .

Is there any problem with putting one fuel line one side and one the other as struggling to get all 3 pipes down one side ?

I used 8 mm copper and ran them down the one side and the brake pipe. You just need to be careful running down the other side as another Exocet I saw once had done it like that but was touching the exhaust

Hi Jamie, good to see another build in Notts. Our exocet is currently mid build in Ilkeston, having fun with the wiring amongst other bits and bobs. All I can say is don't rush and youre more than welcome to any advice we amongst others may offer. Best regards and good luck, Garreth.
