Your experience, plus a similar post (Miata experience - not Exocet) on GRM's forum within that last week has me rethinking my purchase of Moog "OEM replacement" lower ball joints now.

Moog is a known brand, but I can't speak to it. I just dropped the money on all new Mazda OEM lower ball joints and tie rods. Wasn't cheap, but should last.

How are your windshield channels working? Do you have some on the side as well?

How are your windshield channels working? Do you have some on the side as well? Yes, the windshield channels from Exomotive run most of the way up the side of the tiny windshield. The main problem is that the channel is much wider than the poly carb windshield . I printed adapters that take up that space. The adapters on the side I made tapered and pressed them into the channel to secure them tightly. I added some clear caulk in the channel as a glue. I should add more, but it is holding up fine so far. The poly carb vibrates a bit at higher speeds, but so long as it doesn't fly off!

Here is one adapter I made for the bottom. Here is the side with one of the adapters I made pressed tightly into the channel.

Jon - how wide is the slot in the Exomotive channels? I have a frame on order now, and need to plan how to (at least temporarily) integrate a windshield wiper into it. (Yup - another wonderful OH registration requirement!)

(Yup - another wonderful OH registration requirement!) The inside channel is around 5/8" if memory serves me. I'll measure this weekend to confirm for you. You going to get a glass windshield? If I were going to put a wiper, I would try to make something that clipped onto the top of the glass/poly carb . For example, try to make some spring loaded clamp (like for a bag of chips!) that I could quickly take on and off. I suppose it depends on the wiper you use.

Any chance you'd care to give the two .stl files for a small fee?

No need for a fee. PM me your email and I'll send them for nothing.
Really, they are just channels. Took about 5 minutes to draw!

Einy.. check out ebay for hand wiper eBay item number: 131499815941 That's a good possibility, George. Also considering using my stock wipers from the Miata. They have a nice bushing block already on them. First things first - I need my frame from Kevin to start the mockup. Either way, I will be using safety glass as that is a requirement here.
