Ok, 8 pounds less, but I'll have to find an other wife. Only with a pair of new shoes my wife is not content to secure

8kg not 8lb, that's 17.6lb.
Ok simple solution, allow your wife's shoe budget to match your car budget........oh but that now means you are around $24k down.
Mind you that's only $3k per kg.........
What about selling your car to an offshore business then claiming a tax loss, it works for Starbucks!

I have some bad news to give ... The construction of my Rocket will not happen. In Germany is no longer possible to receive the TÜV for a car like that. Because the VW scandal is no longer anyone willing to take a similar responsibility. And anyway, the rocket must be from late April of this year min EURO 6 as it regards the exhaust gas. For now I try the B plan. But seems that everything is unnecessary.Only a TÜV illegal and the only solution. But must have always afraid that you discover the catch. and I do not want. Kit Car in Germany are only possible up to the end of 1993, so no rocket. Anyway I will start here in the forum to sell all the stuff I have.

No possibility of getting it registered in another country then taking it back to Germany.
After all the work you have done it deservs to be you that drives it.
As a last resort what about using a different engine/gearbox from a euro 6 car.

Besides the expense of a new EURO 6 engine, yet must about 2500 € extra for gas test. from us now, unless youhave a certificate that says that the engine mounted on YOUR car's EURO 6. Without this test a EURO 6 engine, it is classified EURO 0 So I give up everything, I use Plan B. Here's the plan B: Under the law here, a car up to the year 1993 you can register here in Germany legally and without any problem / test. So I started looking for a Kit car that is within that data. I found one. And I can mount almost 90% of the pieces that I built. Of course, it is given that at 23 years old may have to rebuild almost all. But this car I have a German registration. So now I have no more legal obstacles. This allows me to build even more crazy pieces. So, the Mev Rocket dream for my is over, but not the dream Kit car.

Unfortunately it did not go exactly as I hoped. But at the same time, they are at least happy to have already solved the problem for the other kit car recording I bought. He was delighted to me last year, at the Nürburgring. I still remember well the faces of all those who watched your cars, and the positive reaction of the people. Too bad that the German state is so stupidly restrictive. Since my continuous construction, but with another car model, I post only the pieces that will be built by me. Always if I may.
