Here is a photo of the alternator bracket.I think,James and this what you asked .is  in alloy 7075 and Bolts Titanium.

Ok that's tiny! What alternator are you using?

Here in the forum and was told that the original alternator weighs 5 kg. 

I also weighe the Original alternator bracket and all Parts for alternator. The total weight is more than 10kg. With this mini alternator and everything else you may have a weight saving of about 6.5kg. In addition to a slight improvement of balance of car. that mounts inside and bottom. Not and who knows but that I think is in the sum something positive

Is Aluminium. Es 
For the handbrake you need something wait.is somewhat complicated.Have been several Prototype made,But  not 100% perfekt

Council also take original Denso. On the internet there are many copies of this alternator, but they work for a short time.
Be careful because there are both 12v and 14v

Today I started to produce interior parts for the Handbrake.the hardness of original material is 52HRC.
so I had to temper the material in the oven by 980gr before cutting the pieces.For security I have cut more than one.Because as I said, and quite complicated and is easy make a mistake.I can say that even if it seems easy to do a handbrake levers, be very careful and produce several small pieces

And this is the result. The mounting attacks are identical to the handbrake focus. A original handbrake focus weighs 0.8kg. So I have not saved anything on weight.You think I can have problems with the VAT?
