Rotors are cheap get a new set. and rebuild the calipers you have and give them a coat of paint and a good set of pads. Get the car running, if you do boost it later see then if a new bigger set is needed.. You can sell the set up later to an owner of a 1.6 car to up grade there brakes.. And get back the cost of rotors, rebuild kits, pads..

I got my parts back from powder coat! I think they came out great! $560 for blasting and coating with a turn around time of about a week. I had them done in Lava Black. It not as shiny as gloss black but it is glossier than the satin black sample he had. I

Love it. Does it have metalic in it?

Nope no metallic. Just a nice solid black. I do have ridiculously bright LED fixtures in my garage, that each have about 500 individual diodes, and that may be what is giving it a metalic look.

What is the output on those lights? looks about 7000 k for color and 8000+ Lumen . Does your garage double as a photo studio?

The fixtures are 3200 Lumens, 4000K color temperature, 42 watts. I have 9 of them in my 850 sq.ft. garage/shop. I picked them up at Lowes. Utilitech Pro LED Wrap Light I really like the color temp and coverage of the lights. The only odd thing about them is they have a 1-2 second delay from when you flip the switch to when the lights come on.

Nice. So you just want to see everything with great coverage. 4000K puts it in Tungsten color range. I will have to look into those for my work table. I know that the LED units have an electrical driver in them. When you have multiple diode units in the light it will take a second or two to light. It works like a start ballast.

The powder coating looks very good. Do they powder coat the inner aspect of the bushing sleeves? Robert

The powder coating looks very good. Do they powder coat the inner aspect of the bushing sleeves? Robert Yes they did. They were painted before so I had them powder coated. They covered all of the threads on the studs and plugged all of the threaded holes however. They also protected any machined surfaces like the bearing seats in the rear uprights.

Does the powder coating inside the bushing holders make it harder to insert new bushings?
