I plan to put them on Matte Black 15x8 Traklite Holeshot wheels. I ordered some yesterday but today I got an email saying they were back ordered until MARCH!?!? So I am cancelling that order and looking elsewhere. Where did you order them from? I found some places in eBay that have em for $130 each shipped. Black 15x8 is the size I am going with also.

That is a good looking wheel. I am trying to not have to use spacers. A light weight wheel is pointless if I have to stick a big hunk of steel spacer in there. It also look like spacers are fairly expensive. So, heavy and expensive make them look pretty unattractive to me.

I tried to order them from FR Motorsport in California. Apparently they just drop ship so they are back ordered. Time to find somewhere else.

That's where I got mine. They had the best price. Not surprised they blew out the stock.

That sucks. I was going to order those. Hopefully I will need wheels before march. Let us know if you find a hidden source or something equivalent. They are a lot lighter than the alternative choices with +0 offset.

I ended up buying some in the "black chrome" finish from another dealer. They were a bit more at $600 shipped but I think I will like the black chrome more than the matte finish anyway. They are drop shipping from Traklite so any dealer should be able to get you pricing on them. You might try TR Motorsports and see what they can do. If I had known that they were just going to drop ship I would have looked for a better deal but its done now. I hope.

I'm with you on no spacers, but Geoff (Steadfast) mentioned that he still had to get 5mm spacers in the back to clear the frame.

Yeah, It sounds like 5mm at the back is what people are needing. I am not sure if its to clear the frame or the brakes though. I have seen both quoted as the reason. I did run across these wheel spacers this morning. They look like they should be pretty light weight.

Black chrome sounds cool, but I didn't see any 15x8 in black chrome holeshots on traklite site.

Been waiting to see if Stead Fast has any issues with spacers and fenders. Wonder if he got them yet....

Same wheels here, for the same reason as others: less spacer is better, and they're the only zero-offset that don't cost $500 per corner while weighing less than 15lb.
I went with frsport also!
Traklite Wheels HOL580B00CBZ Holeshot 15x8 4x100/114 +0 Copper Bronze Item #: HOL580B00CBZ This item is backordered. Estimated ship date: 1 - 3 Days
^^ does it say March on that Order Info page for you?
Grand total shipped: $491.52. Can't beat that. Heck, I won't be on the race track till April at the earliest anyway, so I could wait if I had to...

I was told by 2K Racing that the copper bronze and the black with bronze lip or polished lip were available. It seems to be just the matte black wheel that is back ordered until March.

OK so what are people doing for brakes and coilovers? I want to have all new calipers and need new rotors on all four wheels so I am looking at the Flyin` Miata Stage 2 big brake kit (Street) Does anybody have any opinions on a better/more affordable setup? I am also looking at the FM V-Maxx XXtreme coilovers - Sport package I probably dont need adjustable dampening but it sure sounds cool and I loved it when I had a sport bike. I an just worried that the springs may be too stiff for an Exocet. So what are you guys with running cars using?

I don't recall you mentioning being boosted in your thread. If not, I don't see any reason to upgrade the calipers. A normally aspirated Miata will run laps all day with upgraded pads (I like Carbotech, YMMV) and fresh high temp fluid. Things are different if you're going to crank the horsepower way up.

I am not going turbo this year... but I think spring 2015 is going to be the time for forced induction. The stock rotors are trashed so I need new rotors no matter what. I know I don't "need" new calipers but I would hate to put those rusty hunks on a car with new everything else.
