Common up.
Actually, I was just down your way last weekend to pick up the hard top for my DD Miata. Should have given you a shout.

Got the steering rack seals out today. Not sure why I was so intimidated by the project. It was actually quite easy and straight forward. Start off with this. The lines are held on by 12mm flare ends and a 14mm banjo bolt. The shaft guide is just a 17mm bolt. The steering gear is just held on by 2 12mm bolts. Unlike the NA rack, it just lifts out once these bolts are undone. The end of the rack came off using a 1 3/8 socket. I'm sorry I don't know the metric equivalent. After the rack is disassembled the shaft pulls out effortlessly. Removing the seals is the same as an NA rack. Cut two slits, stop before touching the shaft. Use a chisel to break it off. Easy. Don't forget to grease the pinion to prevent it from wearing out. I'm so glad I did this. Turning the rack even by hand is effortless now. Special thanks to Improbable Construct for your rack instructions from your build thread. It was at this point I realize I could have powder coated this piece yellow... Maybe I will later. :/

Greg, I hope this will help with fitting your seats. Kevin sent these to me when I was having trouble trying to order my seats. John

Headlights came today. They are bigger than I thought. Not sure if I like that. They look nice other wise. The only issue is I can't find a wiring diagram for them anywhere. The model number is TL007-BS. If they follow the rules of some other generic headlight setup that bikes have, my best guess is: Brown is battery Green is ground (earth) White is high beam Blue is low beam There are 3x 2 pin connectors with green and brown wires coming in/out so my guess is that's power and ground. There's another 2 pin connector with a blue and white so that's probably high/low beam but then there is an individual blue wire too so I'm a bit baffled....

Didn't want to risk breaking it but yes that's an option vs setting up a test rig and randomly hooking up wires to see what is what.
