Took some video with my new tube mount for my cellphone too.
Traction less first and second gears.
The camera mount rattles and makes the car sound ricey. I promise the car doesn't sound like that in person.

Car looks great! My fuel filler does the same thing, I thought it might have to do with the vent as well. As soon as I have the $$ saved up I'm buying that FM2, I can't wait. What year down pipe did you use with the FM2 kit? Was there plenty of clearance? I had to modify my Enthuzacar exhaust to fit since I have the first chassis with the new tranny tunnel so I will have to make it work I guess. I'm keeping the engine our till I can drill the oil return, i dropped off the intake manifold and valve cover to the powder coaters Sat. Lots of time to sit and look at it now lol

It's the FM NA down pipe. Unfortunately the exhaust hanger they make that bolts to the trains doesn't fit. The pipe had to be adjusted all the way to the passenger side of the car.
The exhaust fits but the flanges get really really close. They're probably hitting while I'm driving. If the whole thing was a slip fit, there would be no fit issues. I might convert my exhaust to that style in the future.

Do you have the cat? Also, how does the O2 sensor setup work? 1? none? Just the wideband from the kit?
I had to cut my flanges off and use a wide clamp like one that comes with the cat back.

Nope no cat. I got an NA test pipe that replaces the car though. It's the flanges for that which come really close to hitting.
I'm running both a narrow band and a wide band. The narrowband is for closed loop. Wide band is for acceleration.
By default from FM it uses the wideband. I may ditch the narrowband for running a secondary wideband so I can have a gauge to look at too though.

Also, I just remembered, you're chassis #98 right? Mine is 101 so same issues as you.

Yes, #98 so same design. The cat is very close to hitting the tunnel and sticks down the farthest, might just take it out.

Did you get a couple stainless rods to use as mounts? I'm probably going to riv-nut them to the square tube and have the rods welded onto the exhaust when I get mine made up.

BTW, I did my filler with 2-45* bends, and it still backs up, requiring a slow fill. A flexible hose like Steadfast used is in my future.

I got the same hose he did and mines very slow to fill. Not sure if it's a vent issue or what

I'm running a marine purge which is always open and the stock filler pipe with a rubber line venting the filler just like stock.
Maybe the issue is just the hose itself being too short?

That's part of it. My tank will fully fill, but I have to fill it at 1/2 speed.

I like the look of the off road kit. Like others not sure what I would do with it. If I lived out west where there were open dessert or sand I would build one in a heartbeat. If you look at what a sand buggy frame costs these days its a nice alternative.
