From what I have read, registering a kit car that was previously titled is a breeze. They are treated like a normal car, this is based on WV laws and my buddy who bought a street legal dune buggy in FL and registered it in MD.

Laws are all over the place across the country. Worst case, register it in Montana. You don't even have to go to the DMV there .

Hmmm. I sense a market for "buying", registering and "selling" Exocets to my out of state companions.

I am in Maryland, and have a lot of questions about registering the Exocet. The wording on MVA's website is very ambiguous.

^ He didn't have to mess with the kit car titling part, it was already a kit car when he bought it so transferring to title and re registering it in MD was just like buying a normal car in another state. He didn't jump thru all the hoops with getting it street legal, this was a few years back also.

Alex, if it turns out to be worth while and you'd like me to sell you your PA registered Exocet, let me know!

Only got about 10 minutes to work on the car today. Spent more of the time moving out of the large side of the garage (means cheaper rent). With the donor car gone, it's more space than I need. Saturday, the BEGi spacer finally showed up. Ordered this 3 weeks ago. Really disappointed with BEGi and their website issues and lack of communication when it comes to back orders but eventually it got here. I had ordered the rest of these parts some time ago and powder coated them. Tonight I could finally install them. Glad I didn't route the clutch line yet as it would have interfered with the radiator hose. Probably going to get another brake line and route it above with the brake lines.

Just wondering Does the temp unit have to ground to the housing/engine to work?? See you used Teflon tape.. Did you do the same on the oil pressure sender?? Oil sender no tape..

I only used tape on the caps and fitting. The sensor has no tape.

I have that miataturbo spacer. Shipping was fast and the product is perfect. I would definitely order from him again if I needed to.
