I thought my 'vacuum hard line to the brake booster' clean-up and rattle can spray job looked pretty good, until I saw your result. Crud ... back to the drawing board on that one!

Send me some pieces. I will coat them for you. That goes for anyone else too!

Build is looking really good. I like the insulation idea I have been looking at the lizard skin heat coating but that may be a cheaper option.

Might even put some on the firewall. I may still go with the lizard skin. I am thinking of coating the underside of the tunnel and the underside of the hood. Figure a little heat barrier would be better for the fiberglass especially if I have the hood vinyl wrapped.

Just a little bit of info guys, I would save some of the heat barrier to use on the bottom side of the hood. The hood is so close to touching (in some cases does touch) the engine and throttle body. This provides an extra layer of protection.

Steadfast, did you put anything under the fenders to help protect them from road debris? Been debating putting rhino-liner or something under them (and maybe even under the floor boards too).

I did not put anything under my fenders, but that may be a good idea. It sure as hell couldn't hurt.

This got here fast. Small stuff done. Got the side panels mounted up and finally got the rear coil overs adjusted. The car sits about 5.75" off the ground now. Much better than the 3 or 4 from before. The 3/8 stainless bolts I got for the parking brake are too large so that job couldn't be finished tonight. I got some push in plastic ties to mount the cables out of the way. Pics of this tomorrow. That's all for now. Enjoy the show. Seat is just sitting there for fitament testing (tweaked the mounting brackets to allow some side to side adjustment).

Seriously, that color blows my mind. Looking great, coming along very quickly! Thanks Geoff! I still find myself staring at it in awe. Now with the grey panels it looks better in person than it ever did in my imagination. Oh! I got the windshield in today. Had an idea for a simple and cheap setup you might like.
