Jason @ Enthuszacar, who makes all different flavors of Miata exhausts, said the turbo takes away approx 30% of the exhaust noise.

I remember seeing some info from FM where they said a 3" system will spool the turbo approx 400 rpm quicker than a 2.5", all depends on what you want.

Well the turbo is too much fun apparently, I was doing a few 80-120 pulls on the highway and cracked the windshield. I have the frame at the glass shop and will have it back next week, I plan to make it 1.5" shorter and not drive so fast lol.

Got a leather Sparco steering wheel coming today to replace the suede NRG one as well.

Wow that's anoying. Maybe a taller frame is needed for the glass?

Taller frame would definitely help, this piece of glass is 12" in the center.

I believe there was a write up on the turbo exhaust buried somewhere on a vendor page. A quick Google search should find it.
From what I remember, they had a few setups turbo and supercharger and the full 3in actually hurt power output at low boost settings. The turbos are pretty small on the 1.6, 1.8s in the Miata and the flow didn't really benefit that much. I'm trying to find it now because it was a very honest read. I would assume a 2.5in setup would muffle sound, add clearance, and leave some coin in your pocket.

Yesterday my brother and I made the trip up to Cars and Coffee Pittsburgh, it was about a 1 hour trip north for us. There were a lot of cool cars and got to talk with some nice people. Everyone was asking about the Exocet, it certainly drew the biggest crowd. This is still the first one that I know of in the area. Here are some pics I took during the meet.
