I'm with you. Mine started off as a budget build. Next thing you know I've been nickel and dime'd to death by $100 here and $200 there...

About 5k over planned budget here. Nickel+Dime, some tools, and other things you don't think about.

Here are some more pics of the windshield. I am happy with the way the muffler turned out, the high temp has a slight texture to it, almost like a hammered finish. Made some floor mats out of a roll of grip tape, turned out pretty good. As of last week, my bodywork was 7 sets away. Should be here this in a few weeks or so. What did you use to hold the glass/poly in the frame?

the guy that cut the glass filled it with windshield adhesive, it's very solid and tight.

Ooh, ok. I didn't realize you had glass professionally installed. I'll have to see if I can find some windshield adhesive, I guess. Thanks!

We put a bit over 300 miles on the car yesterday, mostly back roads and a bit of highway. It was very hot but we had a blast. Here is a quick pic from one of the stops we made.

Awesome, Luke!
I should be out there starting to accumulate miles soon also ... punchlist of "must do" items before OH inspection is getting short!

I got a battery disconnect switch installed last weekend and also added a small support for the back-center of the hood. I attached it to the coil pack bracket. My hood was about 2" lower in the center, it is much more rigid and level now. We went to a car show Sunday, here's the only pic I got. The yellow Cobra is my uncles kit car.

Any issues with driving without fenders?

No issues at all! The stock mounts flex too much plus I think it looks way cooler. I'm pretty sure its illegal like this but WV cops are pretty laid back as long as you drive with some sense. I've passed tons of cops (state, county, city) and never been stopped.
