That rear view and taillights looks awesome. Are those semi truck tail lights? Love the color scheme too.

Thank you, yes they are semi truck lights. I listed the part numbers a few pages back if you need more info.

Luke - what were the cutout dimensions that you used for the taillights? I have the same, but cannot find anything on Grote's website telling me this info. Also, do the fit nice and snug, or did you do something on the inside of the cover to make sure they don't pop out?
Thanks in advance !!

Looking so good, man! I have been looking for an aero style fuel cap lie that (for a reasonable price), but all I can find comes from the UK, for $200-$300. Where did you get the one installed on your Exocet?

Here is a little rack I made to keep the fenders out of the way. Hopefully I won't need them for a while, we have yearly inspections in WV but hopefully I won't need to install them just for the inspection.

I do have the grommets. I think I will use a 2 1/2" hole saw on either end then connect the holes with a cutoff wheel. I can always make it bigger later as you noted! Love the quality of the Grote lights and especially their connectors. No way I can see those failing. so, you prefer driving without the fenders?

I like the look with the fenders off, they seemed to bounce around a lot too. I don't notice any rocks being kicked up either.

I'm going to take a shot at getting mine registered without fenders. Not clear on if they are required or not in Ohio (same question with a windshield), but I do see a 'rail buggy' running around that doesn't have either.

I'll get some pics this weekend, I'm not sure the brand of the ceramic he used. I paid for the high temp powder and he upgraded me for free since it flaked off. I got quoted $100-$150 for ceramic coating good to 2000°. Sounds reasonable.

That price sounds very reasonable, I would def do it. I am very happy with my ceramic coating. Yes I could have saved $ and put BBQ grill paint on it but I already have $20k+ in the car lol.
