If I had to rebuild my gearchanger I'd go clicktronik for sure. only no steering paddle shifter but lever+waterproof switches activated for simplicity and reliability. have a closer look at my idle throttle lever construction where I used gommets as pivoting hardware. It's posted in the last posts of my thread as final mod of my tr1ke. I wouldn't even reconsider to route a linkage from the front of the engine all the way to the back. Fly by wire is much easier and neat br, Erik btw, Love the texalium layup. btw2, if you replace the tunnel I'd recommend to route the coolant hoses not through the tunnel. The hot hose dissipates heat to the cool hose which affects cooling efficiency which has been an issue on several tr1kes over here. if I had to rebuild this part I'd place the hoses on the sides of the chasis or each hose next to the tunnel. However, I ended up with a heated key switch in the tunnel to prevent rust due to water while the donor switch was blocked by rust and debris. if you're facing heat issues (very likely with the original mesh) you may give this some thoughts
