I've been looking for a readable schematic that would tell me if the '95's had such a switch. George turned me on to a few links I hope will help. Since I don't do this for a living, I find this project a great distraction from the daily grind. My 18 year old son and I have done everything ourselves from day one.

Here are some update photos from Treasure Coast Miata's shop. And Wesley at Treasure Coast Miata sending me a teaser of things to come. Looking forward to the power increase. Here is the link to Treasure Coast Miata if anyone is intrested. They are a great source for parts new and used. treasurecoastmiata.com/p-8677-racecar-rentals.html

Sorry to 'steal' your thread but if Dougamor is struggling with his 95 wiring, mine is a 95 I have all the loom exposed at the moment with everything working (I think) if I can help trace anything let me know. I also had an immobiliser that I removed as part if my strip down. John

I'll start my own thread, or pity party, whatever you want to call it! Thanks so much for the offer of support. I'm gonna get into it over the weekend with the help of a multi-meter. Between you and George I hope I'll have all I need to get this fired up!

Is it worth a trip to Treasure Coast? Robert Robert, Are there any parts you are looking for? Wesley can find almost anything you would need for your build. When it comes to Race Miata's they are the best in the south. They are not a big shop, they just love to race. My Exocet is the first one that Treasure Coast is involved with. Last time I was up at the shop they had just stripped a 99 Miata to sell as kit for an Exocet. The motor, gear, wiring ect on a pallet ready to go. Yes it is worth stopping by or at least a phone call. They even have appointments on Saturdays if they are not at the Track racing cars. call Treasure Coast Miata at 772-263-3142

I called Treasure Coast and they said they would be delighted if I came over to say hi. They are very close to Vero Beach. I am staying with some dear friends in January for a few weeks. Great road trip!!!

A real pain to get the braided line to fit. needed a banjo fitting to clear the frame. Is that the braided clutch line from Exomotive? Does it run straight from the master to the slave cylinder? Do you have a URL for the fitting you needed to add? Can you re-use the donor's hardine against the firewall, and then just get a flexible line from the end of that to the slave? Thanks.

This is Exomotive's line it runs from the master to the slave in one length. The accessory banjo was provided by Kevin at Exomotive when their 90 deg fitting did not fit. the issue is that there are multiple master cylinders for the Miata. most of the NA masters fit fine without the extra banjo fitting needed. My master is the newer style one from Exeedy for the NB for some reason it is larger in the casting end. It was even larger than the one I am replacing. I had considered using the hard pipe it would only require a little modification to it (bending) for it to fit. You would also need to put some sort of support clips to the hard line. Then you would have to install the mount clip to the firewall. I would suggest using a riv-nut to do that. Then you could use any of the stock slave flex pipes.
