Fred
I finally made it back from my ride to California. I am just going through the forum catching up on what's going on and to see if Kelvin has sold any new kits this side of the Atlantic.
I see you are working nicely through some hurdles on your project. I had some issues myself with the knuckle of the ball joint hitting the rotor. It really has to be WELL SEATED right up to the hilt to clear it even with the spacers on the top. Hopefully it will be a minor correction to remove the spacers from the bottom and add new ones to the top.
Good luck with it...

Fred I finally made it back from my ride to California. I am just going through the forum catching up on what's going on and to see if Kelvin has sold any new kits this side of the Atlantic. I'm concentrating on the new trike and decided to do some mods/improvements to various items on the existing trike so that things for you guys across the oceans and seas will have an easier time of things with new builds. When I've got them all sorted I'll start to promote the kits more. Things are going well behind the scenes here though

Scott sold the whole Eco-Exo business to Kelvin. He is still over on the other side of the pond.

qdos ..are you now the manufacturer / seller of the Eco-Exo ? Where are you located.? Yes I took on the project from Scott tail end of last year. I've kept things the same so yes Kevin in Atlanta is the US distributor. Scott was very happy with hohw things had been going so I see no reason to change that at all. I'm located on the South coast of the UK near Bournemouth and have been building kits since I was 17. I've known Stuart Mills who originally came up with the Eco-Exo design for quite a few years and always liked the trike when I first saw it when he was designing it several years back. Scott nipped in before I got the chance to buy it so this time I was determined not to let it slip by again and took it on when Scott needed to spend more time on other things. I'm currently working on some further developments on the trike which are going well but untill everything is finished I'm afraid but they are under-wraps.

You should hire Roger and Ed to re-write that manual! I'm looking for a solution for a front bumper should you or anyone have any ideas. I"m looking to put something between my feet and anything I might happen to hit!!

Ed, a few posts back you asked me the measurements of my seat rails ... outside dimension is 11 1/4 inches . Drilled holes, center to center are 9 3/4 inches. Hope this answers the question.

FB They are indeed very helpful guys and have done great jobs in building their trikes Not sure if an American bumper is the same thing as a British bumper but I'm sure you're not going to like me saying the new Eco Exo has a longer nose and consequently will be better should you run into something but really it's all about how you use your breaks The general idea is to stop before you run into things.

Yes, I will try to use the brake pedal whenever possible. I have NEVER worried about safety of any of my vehicles ... but , maybe it's an "age thing" ..I took a look at that front end and said to myself ... "wow... if I hit something I"m gonna wind up like Rick Mears" ..if you follow indy car racing, you'll know what I mean. FB

So long as you don't end up like our "Crash Bike Dummy Dave"
I have to agree though there are fleeting moments when you site in your trike and look at the trucks and think hmmmm Don't fancy meeting that! But then let's be honest even in a car I don't fancy it; though I have actually done it for real before but our roads round here are barely 12 feet wide and in some places not even that. Still the Truck should not have been on my side of the road all the same. I can tell you bumpers make no difference anyway.
F1 is more my scene I like a bit of variety in the corners rather than the Indy ones Have driven the F1 circuit a few times in the Deronda (in fact my profile pic is of me in it at Silverstone)
