June 2015 .. making some progress ...slow but steady . Welded on washers to build up area for tapered front end mounts, took the whole rig to machine shop had tapered holes done by the best guy around, expensive but perfect ..also had him make the steering rod extensions that were not supplied with my kit and again, expensive but beautiful ... Starting tearing the donor apart and we're into that pretty good .. all the plastic off , lines off, fluids drained ... Our plan is to remove the front wheel / assy first and start working on the brakes / axles / etc. next while simultaneously ripping the swing axle off and starting to work on getting that "dry" fitted. I also put the seat that I bought on the ground and test fitted it to my butt. It was a pretty good fit so I"m past that hurdle haha.

Fred, list all the un-used parts over on BurgmanUSA.com or Burgmanriders.com. You just may recoup some of your money. But state the buyer must do local pickup as shipping large items is hard and expensive.

Thanks can somebody tell me where to get the appropriate length yoke and pin for the brake pedal to master cylinder connection? I got one that fits but it's way too long and in the pictures of complete builds, you seem to have round much shorter ones but I cant find them.

Ed ... did you have to make modifications to something to make the pedal throw correct. It looks like you have the same size I have but it "pushes" my pedal way too far "up" ... did you shim out your master cylinder to set the pedal heighth?

I ground the back of the brake petal to match the contour of the steering rack. That gave me the clearance I needed for the throw of the petal. The petal is high but very usable. No problems in 2000 miles I have on her now. IMG_2734 by evanbelkom, on Flickr

I'll go and check on the demonstrator but at the moment it's back in the barn as the CVT when phutt the other day on the way to a big bike meet at Poole Quay The footrest is an excellent addition, I'd recommend it for sure! I've found several times that my left foot is flapping about in the breeze outside the chassis frame as there's nowhere comfy to rest it and it kinda migrates to outside the chassis subconsciously. I have to say I've not really noticed the brake pedal being an issue at all though my first impressions of driving the trike was that the pedals seemed a bit awkwardly placed but then I'm over 6'2" tall and Scott was somewhat shorter to say the least. After driving the trike a while you just get used to things and don't notice any more. New trike will have a different footwell The beauty of kits is you modify them to suit you

Has anyone had issues with the ball joints hitting / rubbing the brake discs?? Mine do for sure .. not really sure how to correct it . I had the machine shop do the taper etc. so things are perfect as far as the ball joint mounting ...

So where does one get that footrest? I made it starting with this. www.pegasusautoracing.com/productdetails.asp?RecID=9444The rest of the pieces I made myself. The footrest is cut down some also. After painting it gloss black it looked pretty good. I could not live without it now. Edward

You will need to grind off the washers, and weld some new ones on top then have the holes reamed to the proper size. Here is mine for reference. IMG_1934 by evanbelkom, on Flickr
