The pic highlights the wonky number plate but that is a one of a kind back section

Ok so this morning was starting to be a sunny day pushed the car out of its home and started to clear up the mass of tools we had lying around. By midday it was warming up the wife had gone out and my son was at school oh and my brother was working away i knew I had a spare half hour .so I grabbed the keys and fired up the MEVSTER I was alone with no co-pilot ? This was the first time I had properly drove the car on the streets alone it was great My only concern was the car seemed to wander is it that the tyre pressure is too high I am running 26psi at the mo and I am unsure if the suspension should be soft or hard I am running a mid setting at the mo

26 is too high - aim for 20, maybe even a smidge lower (18/19) ... you're looking to see relatively even tyre wear rather than just in the centre (too much pressure) or on the shoulders (too little).
As for suspension.... personal tastes I guess? most people seem to start at the midpoint and then go a few clicks stiffer on the damping. Give it a whirl and see what you think?

If you want the same contact patch then you need to drop the psi by the same % as the weight drop.

Ok so we took the car to Europa kit car spares today which is only a 30 minutes from our base . Tires set to 20 psi and a light fuel load oh and not forgetting freshp5 at the wheel we set off up the A38 . The car drove perfect even got it up to 90mph at one point when I glanced across from my cold passenger seat . I got to drive back but opted for a more scenic route can't wait to do it again

Nice looking wheels and well done btw
My Exocet used to handle a lot differently with a passenger in it , on a stock set up it seemed better with someone beside me, I assumed it was because it was nearer its old weight.
Depending on how you are going to use it , I.e always with a co pilot ,then I would consider how extreme with the set up to go.

I think we are gonna run it around for a while with our current setup and me and freshp5 have 2 different driving styles so we need to find a happy medium ?
