I spent most of the time drinking coffee and watching TV. The turbo and lines practically fell onto the motor. I tested the newly installed injectors for leaks, and all is good. I have the new tune loaded into megasquirt. I just need to get my new radiator in. Hoping that it arrives on Wednesday. I ordered this:  I have a dyno apointment on Friday afternoon. I hope to have it ready Thursday. Cutting it close! |

How are you liking the tablet for the gauges? Are you using an anti-glare screen or anything? Leaning very strongly towards using Shadow Dash full time in my car (will be running MSPNP Pro), but glare is the only thing holding me back.

The dash is perfect, no issues with glare at all. I just installed my dash today. Here is a quick video

I am also planning on running shadow dash,msdroid on a tablet. What are your plans for tuning the megasquirt? Are you going to have it fully tuned from a shop or are you going to run the VE Analyzer and tune yourself? I have more or less the same setup as you with megasquirt and a flyin miata manifold,gt2560..

I already have a starting tune, I have a dyno appointment on Friday. I'll be cutting it close. Headed to a local shop called blacktrax. They tuned my car when it was running NA and it ran great.

What??? Gotta ask why. Is the Catfish frame not up to par? There was a guy in SoCal that was selling just the body panels (blackbox motorsports). The question was not 'why', it became 'why not'! His build thread is interesting, as the frame is from MEV UK. Here is his thread on miataturbo. |
