Thank you for the compliments people, the helmet is a high quality snow board one and is just as good as cheap bike lids but I only use it for road use any days when I plan tho be a bit sporting or track days I have my Arai bike lid to use:-) this lid is great for not steaming my glasses up though having goggles that are very well ventilated. And yes it is Welsh lane that I had a little play down:)

Been a but busy over the last few months at work but I have got a few little jobs done, the driving lights are now wired up and come on with the ignition and the wireing is finally finished off, wrapped and neat. The water temp fan switch has been moved to the water hose just out of the head and I've run it up to check and the fan kicks in at a much more sensible temp now, the rear disk has been swapped for a standard one from the wavey to hopefully improve the handbrake, I've been on a weight saving again and stripped the front hubs, this was with the idea of going alloy hubs but I've been playing on a mill instead and saved 700 grams a side so quite pleased, I reckon I could go more but I bottled it a bit with the machining :-) Just a heel rest and throttle stop to sort out, it wasn't a very big winter list but its nice to tinker ? I will put a couple more picture up but to start her are my newly modified hubs.

Hi Andy, There's nothing wrong with tinkering with your tR1ke and don't let anyone try and convince you otherwise The front hubs look nice, I bet there was a big pile of swarf when they were finished.

I do like tinkering :-) And after the winter job list/ diet we now have a kerb weight of 310kg with about a 1/4 of a tank and I think that's about as much as I can go, been out for a short blat tonight and all is well :-) come on sunshine make an appearance

Hi Andy
Are you not going for the magic 299.9kg....the carbon bonnet would be a good start.

Hi Kevin Yes that was and still is the aim, I reached a point where I would really like to drive it lots now :-) the carbon nose cone is quite a big project so maybe next winter, I've looked at changing steering rack and column too as that's very over the top but again next winter:-) I will get booked in for curborough this week as both me and my dad fancy a day out :-)

Looks great. Are you a Snowboarder? Or Skier? Just looking at the helmet, saw one at the snowboard show 2 years ago. Looks kinda insane so perfect for the trike :-).

Hello people So having messaged the management about curborough and not getting anything back as yet, is it the case that it isn't on now and it's at castle comb instead? Andy

Hi Andy
Yes Stuart has decided it would be better at Castle Combe so no curborough, read all about it in the general chat section under KIT FEST
