So today I went on a road trip to collect my Chassis off Tom. What an exciting day. While with Tom we popped down and gave the donor for his next build a warmup. All loaded up On the way home some smart bugger kept tail gating me and as almost everyone does the sitting shot also started to tidy the engine up

Picked the frame up from the powder coaters today. Very happy with how it turned out. Just waiting for the fly wheel and power steering rack now. Hope to get some more done on it this weekend.

So I spent some time over the weekend sorting out the brake lines, cleaning the clippers up and painting them. I fitted my polished manifold and fuel lines. In short it was mainly small fiddley jobs that take lots of time. I am pleased at how the engine is looking.

Progress has been a bit slow at late. I am happy with how the peddles fit now, I got a new clutch feed line and got the clutch all bled up. I got a pair of fixed back bride bucket seats now to, I got one mounted up on a sliding rail, think I might fix mount the passenger one as I have a set of mx5 fixed mounts and it was a mission to get the sliding rail adapted to work.

Liking the frame colour alot. Engine looks very nice with the polished manifold, reckon you could polish the thermostat housing as well. Nice set of polished stainless exhaust headers and you will have a very smart engine bay.
Quick question, have you modified the pedals at all ? what's the height of the pedals like with the seat in? just in the process of fitting my pedals which look a bit high?

I had fun with the pedals, to get them all in line i had to take the top spacers for the brake master cylinder and put them on the engine bay side, i ground an angle on them to help it look ok. Now all 3 line up nicely, I thought they looked a bit high but they are fine with seat in. I probably will polish the thermo housing but don't want shiny headers, the plan is to turbo it soon enough.
