What did you do about flares on your 45 deg alloy pipe?
To get round the perpendicular chassis member problem I was thinking about making a 90 deg but incorporating two 45 deg sections - horizontal / 45 deg / 45 deg / vertical. (Got to use the mandrel bender for something)
Cant figure out how to flare it though as the flaring machine only accepts straight lengths.
As you have now set the new standard on what pipes flares should look like the bar has moved higher.

ok it took a while to find them, but i think the end result was worth it, also the extra expense. i wouldnt have been happy with straight items. yes i know it needs some more T clamps on it

Just a quick on Paul.
The brake res is gravity feed to the master cylinders, will having the hose vertical to the cylinders cause fluid supply problems. I know a vacuum is caused by pushing the pedal but will it be enough to suck the fluid from the res.
I have the feed running down parallel to the cylinder inlet.

Once the air locks are out of the pipe it will be fine, the amount of fluid used from the res. Is minimal as the pads wear. Like syphoning, once its going, as long as the release end is lower than the feed gravity will sort it out.
Cheers though mate, its good to see that people are concerned and will ask about an idea.

Suppose cracking the banjos off to bleed air out the pipe before bleeding will ensure fluid at the cylinders;)
Looking good fella;)

well, after a completely wasted day in both time and fuel money, i thought i would waste some more. full roll of CF, debating on doing the kitchen floor in it. another steering cover made today for IVA purposes obviously. lets see how well the release agent worked.

As a little side note, IVA rules seem to show the drawing of exposed front wishbones, and everything within that area is exempt. Have a look and see what your interpretation is

i clamped up all the coolant on saturday. ready to run some fluid mow to test for low pressure leakage. Thanks to scott, he pointed me in a direction for a handbrake mechanism. its tiny and gives 25-30mm of travel, i just need to fab. a substantial beefy bracket. but it liiks like mt brake can go in the middle again. sorry forgot to take pics.
