Now thats looking like progress little brother,just a point ive noticed,is that a standard exhaust manifold.The primary tubes look a good size.Howlong are they? Sophie could do with something like that.
It really is looking nice and clean too,not like mine.

Paul, I was sitting in my newly fitted drivers seat thinking things are all a bit cramped for space and i could do with loosing a few pounds (or stone really) but i was thinking that your position for the gearlever feels alot more natural, i think i can build a frame to hold the lever there inside a alu box but was wondering if the standard gear lever cables will be long enough to reach the gearbox ?? have you explored this as i don't have the cables yet to test, presumably you can get some made up bespoke for a price?
Build's looking really good mate.

Steve has pointed me in the direction of custom made ones mate, much cheaper than ford items.
Both delivered for less than 100; he said good quality too

THATS EXACTLY WHY I STARTED LOOKING INTO REPOSITION, MY SEATS WONT ALLOW THE TUNNEL AT FULL PTH, HENCE THE MOVEMENT OF THE HANDBRAKE AND GEARS.
The position now is absolutely brilliant, really quick for track too.

Wont fit, I have one from a mk 1 cortina, was gonna fit an electric one but too many issues, an aprillia scooter has a small pull handle I need to look into

It has to be operable from the drivers seat, the early robin good style went on the passenger floor.. Fail.
I think you should recess the galaxy handbrake you have, into the rear alloy tunnel section. Nice and flush.
