Mate.....it has been the same for all of us!
A rubber mallet will be your friend!

Should I have to use the mallet though buddy, there is minimal freedom of movement in the suspension. And nothing should be hindering compression or rebound. It was about half inch mark. I had to wind the adjustment in about 4 turns to bring at closer, then force the rest, im hoping it will begin to free up once rolling and i keep bouncing on it

Same with mine, although when I removed the rear upright to fit the driveshaft, it lined up a treat. It's like it beds in, and provides a little pressure in the links.
Its strange that its never been corrected on the jig, it looks like an intentional measurement.
Can RTR shed any light on it?

That's what I hoped, that a few weeks being moved and compressed might bed it in. When its a little free-er, I can then start measuring sag and angles etc.

As everyone seems to have the same issue I can only assume that it is intentional. It would just be nice if we were made aware so we didn't think something was wrong!

Hi Paul. Sounds a bit frustrating for you at the moment If your needing any (in situ) viewing my garage is always open, noticed your question on Jacks build regarding front wheel bearing torque setting, the advice i got when i recently replaced my front bearings were tighten them until they feel right, because the split pin hole is well back on the shaft mine had been fitted with a series of washers and a sleeve made from tubing to bring the nut back up against the split pin, it just didn't look a proper job so iv,e replaced all that with a nyloc nut, then i dropped the pads out and took up play until there's no rocking on wheel and it spins freely, if you decide to go down that route the nut is a unf and i got mine from ripon farm services. regards John

I'm partial to R888 but the cost is extortionate. The Parada I found awesome, I had them on my evo4, I found on hard driving very sticky and soft, and if my cars tyres were squealing during a corner, then the guy up I disagree in the car behind was in deep trouble.
Claimed two like that, they dismounted the road trying to corner like a parada equipped Evo lol.
They don't have a long life, useless in slippy conditions, for road - awesome For track, you'll kill them in an afternoon, they tend to bobble ofer to the sidewall.
R888 are useless on the road when wet and cold, but dry.. Oh yes.
Federal do a R888 style tyre, and feedback is good, and half the price of r888's
They would be my bet. Try camskill for a price, they're not too bad.

Collected the head last night, 3 angles have been cut on the valve seats, all pressure and vac tested. Will start building that on friday hopefully.
