Thx for the nice comment! I am totaly happy with the colorsheme myself too! ;D Not too much visible things done lately, but very time consuming finishing touches. Wiring to handbrake (beeper) breather valve Shido batterie charged. Took a while to figure out how to charge this batterie. Made bracket for nav mounted on steering column. rear view nav position nav bracket. ind/drl100/drl50% relais+finished part of loom. Bottom left Gauges connector. Top right dash loom. more fuel pump servo license plate location T-piece for breather tank extended and finished sensor wiring. routed underneath engine. main loom, 12V connection, ignition key (parking lock disabled) radiator loom+brake switch+clutch switch . I didn't use thicker wiring because I reconed the inner core of the original fan wiring is as thick as the 1qmm wiring I use. spachetti incident bottom left 2 relais for hazzard switch, next to it the beeper+relais for handbrake and steering column lock. next to them an additional led relais+diode. Loom wrapped as good as it gets. in real life it looks much tidier. MOMO. smooth as snot!

Now that your wiring functions correctly its just the fun jobs to do now.
For me routing the loom was a quite satisfying part of the build.. apart from the first time she starts. Why are you using that type of battery, is it more powerful for the size?

yes this stage is quite relaxing! Just ordered additional high temp spiral hose I ran out of and discovered the T-wraps I used isn't high temp. Guess we'll see if this is an issue on the cooling hoses later.
The batt is Li-ion which should have a better lifespan as the lead-acid batts I have on my bikes. I do drive them occasionally but need new batts way too soon. This batterie will be used in Can-Am Spiders as well which has a more capacity. Yes they seem to have less voltage sag as Lead-acid cells as I have been told. Haven't fired up the engine yet. i think this will be prior to removing the tR1ke from the studs.
I do not feel the urge to fire her up soon. I think it is better to be more patient and take care for the details. I am not planning to add mods after MVSA.
grtz! Erik

Hihi Only thing I can think of is the breather tank hose routing which may need to have adjustment later. My wishlist is remarkably close to zero now.

question:
How many litres of cooling liquid does a tR1ke need?
thx in advance.

Hi Eric In total mine holds 6L, It will be different for each tR1ke because we all have our own solutions
This must mean you are soon going to start the motor, good look.
Cheers Kevin

hehe, Don't hold your breath, the loom is 60% finished but ordered high temp spiral hose to finish the loom. The coolant needs to be ordered as well so I'll get me a 5L can for starters.
Today I started to modify the steering column covering. Tomorrow I'll close the remaining holes.. I'll keep the bottom square hole open because this is out of sight. Need to make a new nav bracket. Can't see enough info on the bottom bar of the screen.
pics follow!
thx!

note: I placed T-wraps and coolant hose in boiling water and the result was a non-event. Should be ok in the tunnel. Made bushes to create space in between the coolant hoses and wiring.

I like your covers for the steering column.

Thx! It took me a long time to find a proper solution to close the holes to be able to reuse the fairing. We are in need to cover the key mechanism anyway because it'll take only one press in the hole on top of it to remove the mechanism out of the steering column! I may have an additional look at it to see if I can place a clamp over it. It'll need a slight mod to the casting for this.
I just figured out an additional option for the side covers but I am not sure if this may pass MVSA tough: would this be a nice location for side indicators? This would also cancel out forgetting to turn the indicators off after cornering.
Well I recon this might be my 1st mod after MVSA LOL!! Any thoughts?

Hi eric Having a warning light directly in front for when we forget to cancel the turn signal is well worth doing although the right side one on yours might not be easy to see. Its one of my things to do over winter)....much better than a beeper, unless the beeper was loud enough to be heard above the wind noise, which would be annoying and embarrassingly loud at low speed. PS...MODS AFTER THE MSVA ;D
