Finally got it on its wheels, and also got some skates, so I can move it around a little easier. Got lots of room for the bike now, so not going to sell, or even think about selling until its finished Completed the steering column after getting the machined bar back and going to make a support for the rod end. How did you guys go about it? Any pics or advice on this would be great Brake lines and pads on there way from RTR today, fingers crossed they are here for the weekend.

What do you think about the clearance on the rad and the silicon hoses and the steering column on the sides. Ok? Also, do I need to space the accelerator pedal out more, or is it ok? Also the last pics is of a Venhill accelerator cable. How do I fit? I assume I chop of the barrel end and feed it through the cable case? I think....and what the hell is in that bag Thanks to all on the forum that have helped me so far, and cheers to Paul and Leighton for their never ending patience with me

Hi Flynn
We seem to be at roughly the same stage, just finished making a bracket for my Accelerator Pedal just need to get the foot plate welded at the front then get it painted.
Got one of those Venhill accelerator cables as well, there are a lot of pieces in that bag, I don't think you use them all there are extra pieces supplied depending on how you fit it.

Not sure mate.
Can't really see any other way to thread it through, I thought there would be something in Jokers thread as it's his pedal most of us are using.

am I right in thinking that I cut off the barrel end and feed it through the casing??? Hi Patrick, That is what I did, and made another end up from the bits in the bag. Looking good on the build progress. The rad pipes are a bit tight, but that is the standard fitment. Some have moved the radiator forward to give more room.

I ended up cutting both ends off to make it easier, but if you cut the barrel off and feed the cable into the sleeve, its easy to make another from the bits in the bag

Hi Patrick, Cut off the soldered nipple as close as you can so that the solder keeps the cable end neat. Dress the end with a file to clear any sharp edges then feed the inner cable through the nylon cable liner. I can't remember if I already fitted the nylon liner into the steel sheath first or not but maybe it will not make any difference. I shortened the threaded end quite a bit, (see pic). Just make sure it does not contact the pedal arm throughout it travel (look inside the clevis). The throttle body end is not that neat but once you have your cable routed and the pedal positioned use one of the pressed steel clevis and screwed barrel nipple from the Venhill kit to make off the end. The other end of the clevis can then be fitted over the peg on the throttle body. Adjust to have some slack at idle. Hope this helps...

Hi Patrick,
I used a threaded cable adjuster at both ends (any of the top 4 on the right of your photo). I think I used the 8mm ones, you will need to drill and tap the top of the cable bracket or drill a clearance hole and use the lock nuts provided.
For the throttle body end I used the pressed steel clevis (third and forth from the bottom, right hand of the photo) and the screwed nipple (third and forth down on the left of the photo).
