The more I look at it the more I like it... lol.
Hi Andrew. u alright mate? Sorry if i'm a bit too cheeky, but I will be going to New Castle for work within the next couple of weeks (I'm from Leicester) and I was wondering if you didn't mind if I popped in to take a quick look at your car while I'm there up north? Not sure about the actual day, though... Feel free to say 'NO!!' :os
Jose.

Yeah Jose
I am in a little town outside newcastle called Consett
Give me a shout when you are up here and you are more than welcome to see it mate.
Had a police van stop at the bottom of my drive last night, to look at it, to be fair also has a very good example of a robin hood at the bottom of the drive so it would make you stop and stare.

Yippee!
Thanks Andrew. I just sent you an email to your yahoo email acc. In there are my contact details and a half-clear explanation of when I should be able to pop in to see your Sonic. I hope that's alright.
Thanks again
Jose

HI stuart I will do my best mate. my mate has a trialer he has offered me, but it will all hinge on whether british engineering and my range rover will be up for it. The range rover is the most tempremental car I have ever owned. need to repalce the alternator this weekend god knows what it will be next. jose, will send a pm later this week, but no problem mate.

Hi Jose
thanks for calling yesterday.
you got me thinking of the battery location.
Going to have a good look and see if we can get it to work this weekend.
Will be good if it can be mounted low in passenger footwell, and then panelled in.
will post more if I get it to work

It is getting there, Finally got my fuel tank back yesterday with the fabricated cover, the cover looks very good, but I am going to have to butcher it to get around the roll bar. will take a look tonight to see how best to tackle it. Can anyone with a sonic tell me how they routed the fuel hoses? Thanks Andrew

Petrol tank in place As I have plenty of speed humps in my estate and kept bottoming out, I have fitted the bolts from the underside, fitting Nyloks to keep it in place and finally the cover I have had made What is teh current ruling of petrol tanks etc and fuel filler etc.? I believe the caveat has now gone, I am thinking if I have to, I will panel the sides and then ges a slightly bigger pipe to go between the cover and the side wall If I need to.

Homeward stretch from here! I have just had the car fired up for the first time, I spent 20 minutes running around the car chasing missing earths, and found that one of my relays was knacked, but it has now been fired. Bring on the weekend, to take it for the first spin! How good it feels to have that hurdle over Stuart many thanks for the responses to the many stupid electronics questions, you must have hated reading my name, but always came back with answers no matter how stupid they sounded. It is much apprecated mate! ;D
