COR just about installed to a level I am happy with. Going to add edging to the bottom as well to finish it off fully but had to take a break and move to more productive things. Replaced the original insulation material used over my coolant pipes with some furnace insulation used at work. Fitted and closed up the sub-tunnel.

Made a minor mod to the Joker throttle pedal today. It has been bugging me how to get the inner cable out (well that actually would be easy) to separate it from the pedal, and then back in again as the cut end was likely to snag. Wanted to separate them as I have never coated the pedal and it is need of a paint or powder coat. So did this Small cut in the top of the fixed part of the pedal and I can now remove the cable without removing the inner from the outer. Spent the rest of the day putting the weaving loom back in and sorting it all out. Of course, as I had everything working before, I just reconnected it as per the fully documented drawing I previously made and followed the labels I had attached to each wire............. Er no I had done neither of the the above Simply worked on the basis of "will it reach" - starting at the rear bulkhead if it reached the front then it was for the front, if not it must be foe the back!

Been racking my brains to find a neat and simple way to secure the rear brake and handbrake cables so they would not rub on the suspension or gearbox. Initially used a bush with a cable tie through it but was never happy. Then today had a eureka moment and came up with this. This is how it works Made out of 50x50x3mm angle and clamped securely under the adjuster bush and the two lines are attached with cable ties. Neat, simple and solid. Will anodize it next week when I am back at work.

It is amazing the number of Red and Shiny things that are out there if you look. Red and Shiny cable cover for the weaving loom for example Not Red nor Shiny but quite important - fitted the fuel tank.

Here you go. www.techflex.co.nz/flexo-pet.htmlThere was quite a choice of types but only one in Red and Shiny. I used the 19mm for the main run in the picture, I have 9mm for lighting Runs and a sample of 32mm to see if it will work on the engine loom.

Interestingly, Venhill sent me the wrong colour brake lines, and by way of compensation offered me some of this overbraid in the correct colour. Needless to say, it was very difficult to get the brake line, already terminated, into the sleeve. But they do carry it.

I wonder if it is the same, this stuff expands to 50% bigger than its nominal size quite easily to slip over connectors...........unless of course the connectors are more than 50% bigger.

Well Rocketeers it has been almost a month since my last confession And all I have done is mess around with wiring but she is alive, well the heart (passive entry and PBS) beats and the engine would run if the coolant system was fully functioning. What have I been messing around at? Not really sure to be honest! Have got an excuse for this week though which is that I have had my ACL ligament replaced in my left knee, hurts like hell but the jobs done. Worst bit is I have been given up to eight weeks off work but I am too sore to do an awful lot. However like an All Black faced with an Australian defensive line I shall battle on and come out the victor I have made these though (to be honest I just cut up some scraps of carbon left over from experiments) Go on admit you are impressed and will want to make some for yourself.......... if you knew what they were. Here is one installed Bottom holes take a cable tie and the top hole is to allow it to slip under the front bulkhead and be secured using the bulkhead fixing screw, they secure the wiring running along the bulkhead to the headlights etc. Also made a male plug for the RHS front panel, from this I will take a female mould and then a carbon panel, yep that carbon is responsible for a lot of sins and delays but carbon still carries a top level wank factor.
