VERY WHITE!!!! Light car, light colour, the "Lightweight" is now available at £2850 plus VAT, it is made from 40mm dia tube instead of 50mm. We have added mounts for engine, diff and wishbones, the advantage being that you do not need the MX5 subframes so you save 32kgs in weight. We then made an alloy tank and fitted GRP seats and very light wheels ect. There is room to fit the tank behind the passenger seat on this car so it leaves a completely empty rear grp cover if a builder would like a boot. The options shown are spoilers (£119 each from Ebay), different mud gaurds and a dash pod (£45) plus side pods (£85 a pair) in front of the rear wheels. Daytime running lights (£6 from Ebay). It is also an option to buy a bolt in MSA spec roll bar at £300.

I can never understand why kit car manufacturers quote prices excluding VAT. How many of your customer do you think can claim the VAT back on a kit?

Is white such a good idea for such a fast car? ;D Looks fantastic. Not so keen on spoilers. Really impressed by the close up shots of the new mounts to get rid of the subframes. I wish there was garage fairy to build my garage for me - as it is the wait is going to be long and with carrots like these the wait will feel even longer!

Looks nice stiggy
Does the alloy tank utilise the same senders etc from the Mx5 ?
Is it transferable into the original.
Is it available and for how much?

White is a bonkers colour, imagine all the sticky black bits from soft compounds all over it! I love it though.

Hi I am looking at building a Exocet in the near future and this lightweight version looks amazing. Its probably just excitement and wishful thinking but are the tank, seats and wheels included in the £2850 (+VAT) We then made an alloy tank and fitted GRP seats and very light wheels ect.
