The pulleys to offset the handbrake cable have been lying around in the garage for about 10 years!...Finally have a home.

Sweet.. Im going the external water pump route myself as i've one kicking around. Have you mounted it on a bracket, or is it mounted just by the inlet/outlet?

I thought about mounting it on a bracket, but the instructions specifically say it is light enough to be supported by the pipe, it seems fine with no bracket.

I suppose as long as the engine mounts are tight, and your plumbed in as you are, then it should be ok. With sloppy mounts, it could stress the pump casing. Your pump looks a little bigger than mine also. The ASH hoses are awesome value for money too, Ive just used them on my last project. Really good quality! Keep up the good work!!

So what is the general consensus on the Camshaft cover vent, the one that used to connect to the air filter.............
Not sure whether to feed it back into the intake or not.
Any advice would be much appreciated.

i ran both breathers into a catch tank.. im using jenveys so they dont have a breather inlet.. but the tank does have a magnetic plug to spot any cam problems early
