Hi guys. Has anyone considered doing a V6 conversion? Had several V6 cars and really love the noise and linear power delivery.
Rocketeer ltd make a V6 conversion for the MX5 and it looks pretty straight forward. Not cheap at almost £7,500 but what a lovely sound !!

I am assuming that the beautiful carbon fibre induction plenums will fit in under the bonnet? Would be a shame to have to redesign the bonnet just to fit them under

This is one of the options I'm pricing up at the moment, but with the cost of the rocketeer kit at £7k+ I think it takes the edge off of my budget build ideas. I'm probably going to turbo the MX5 lump, although it won't sound as nice, or have the nice flat torque, its around £2.5k for similar power and much less work.
