Big Wing Spoiler - Mounting Brackets

Build not yet started but I'm looking around at options for a nice big wing for the rear. I'm aware of the highly expensive APR option which is a bit out of budget but wondered what else is achievable.

Does anyone have any examples of wings purchased from ebay - Also how are people mounting these - Has anyone fabricated custom brackets? I would like to mount on the frame.

The wings don't actually create much down force at all, more of a styling exercise. Thye do slow you down though due to the induced drag! In the wind tunnel at 60 mph we witnessed around 20 lbs which is the same as putting an extra couple of gallons in the tank. In the picture you can see the wing held on by temporary alloy brackets which were only 1.5 mm thick. This was during a aero smoke test at Mira.

  They look just great though, that is why I fitted one on mine.

Yes agreed . In the end it's to complete the look .
I would be great if there were solid mounts available.
