Guys whilst I was changing my fuel pump I noticed previously I had blanked off the roll over valve. Maybe this is not a great idea. Should I fit a one way valve and a cannister. What has everyone else done?? ps I removed charcoal cannister and all pipework

It vents to the atmosphere. Just put a bit of hose onto the check valve & run it somewhere out of the way.

Would it not be best to do something like this guy did and put a cannister on it.

Later versions of the build guide included "If you do [delete the charcoal canister]then you can leave the pipe open after the check valve on the tank to allow for evaporation without a vacuum forming". Makes open ended sound good?

Yes mate. I put a hose on my one just to tidy the area up.
