The time has unfortunately come for me to sell the Rocket. Life is getting busy and I need to simplify things for a while. I’ve run the car for 3 years, its done 3,600 miles and hasn’t let me down once. It has been garaged the whole time and never driven in the rain and I mean never, if it looks like it might rain, it stays in the garage.

Rocket Kit picked up November 2013
Donor was a 2003, ST170
First registered August 2015 on age related plate (53 plate)
Just passed its first MOT with 2 advisories
• Rear wheel bearing play: Sorted, Hub nut needed tightening, these are known to sometimes come loose, some people change them for castle nuts and pin them
• Hand brake efficiency only just reached: Sorted, has been adjusted
The spec of the car is as follows;
ST170 engine and 6 speed gear box
Custom engine mounts (see build diary)
TTV Racing, Ford ST170 Lite Flywheel and Clutch Package
DanST Engineering inlet manifold
Hayabusa throttle bodies
410cc Denso injectors
DanST Engineering 90mm velocity stacks (inlet trumpets)
Pipercross air filter
ME221 ECU with full VVT control and launch control set up (Access via IP rated UBS port behind driver seat)
PLX wideband lambda sensor with gauge and input into ECU (can do ‘auto-tune’ trimming from this)
Flat bottom Sparco steering wheel with buttons for starting and dash functions
Acewell ACE-7859 digital dash
Custom shift lights
4 into 1 Toyo-Sport Stainless manifold
2.5” link pipe with MagnaFlow high flow sports Cat
2 x Stainless Lextek end cans
Fox Racing FX004 15” wheels
Yokohama Parada Spec 2 tyres
Hi-Spec billet front calipers
Drilled and grooved discs all round
Compbrake all in one pedal box with adjustable brake balance bar (pinned in place since IVA)

Also with the car are the following;
Second set of wheels (Fox Racing 5 spoke alloys that were on the car first, see pics)
Another exhaust (quieter but more restrictive, was on car for IVA, see pics)
Engine cover (was on car for IVA but passed MOT without it on)
A kit to fit a remote adjuster for the brake balance bar (as stated above, the balance bar is still pinned from IVA but pins could be removed)
Original ST170 intake, throttle body, ECU etc. (if the buyer wants them)
Probably a few other spares knocking around
