Bought a 360 degree camera recently. Not the best out there but good reviews for the price point. This is the first video from the car filmed at a recent rallysprint. Starts off from the rear lens However being 360 just spin it round. Quality is way lower than my Garmin but then again is was one third of the price! Resolution is 720, I notice my tablet defaulted to a lower resolution.

ooh me likey. Of course, the 720px have to distributed around a much broader field, so the resolution in any one direction is bad-old-days-of-the-internet, but it is brilliant to be able to pan around. I found myself pausing it when I was moving it around, probably a better way than the mouse to do that.

I think the recording resolution is higher than 720p but, as you say, whatever the claimed resolution it is for the entire image so the viewed resolution is lower. Didn't want to spent a fortune on one, eg bolting 6 gopros together, just for a play so found this with good reviews for the price. It is branded Panoview but I am convinced it is made by Elecam. www.elephonestore.com/elecam-360-video-camera-panorama-camera.htmlI found it is not waterproof without a case, not even showerproof, with one lens fogging over for subsequent runs. Did come with a waterproof case though. Also needs lots of light, definate degradation in the video in the lower light footage. The two images are stiched together automatically with its software then did the edits with a free package. In future though only going to record the runs, I left it going for too long which led to big files plus I managed to corrupt the next file which contained the rest of the run from above. Don't think it liked being charged whilst recording. For the money I am pretty happy with it.

If you view on a tablet or phone I moves around when you move the device, however that's not always good!
