Handmade replica DBR1 16 inch steering wheel, MK1 manual steering rack fitted to later modified MK2 front subframe
Fully alloy panelled including wheel arches, lockable passenger foot rest storage box. Door sills have lockers, all lockers
flocked as well as the door pockets and top of the dash.
Dash unit extended and bonded to the body 6 inches further back, steering modified to suit driving postion with billet
column. Floor lowered at the rear by 50mm (I am 6 ft 1 inch and needed to sit inside this one, the first one I felt I was too
high up, owner of that car was much smaller than me, so not an issue for him).
All alloy panels powder coated, chrome finish parts laquered.
Simple 60's mini style door release cable on the doors.
Bonnet has a bonded insert on the front to stop it flying up it fasteners not secured properly.
Boot has a safety latch for the same reason in stainless steel.
Still requires speedo calibrating, laser wheel alignment, rolling road tune etc

IVA will be applied for in January, we will then make it comply to the test, for example remove tinted aeroscreen as supplied by MEV (going to do a clear one 50mm later), remove steering wheel for IVA one and fit seats with headrests etc.

Heater unit fitted is with 3 speeds, just need to add some trunking and hidden vents.

Front top wishbones have new ball joints press fitted, top rears are custom made adjustable on rose joints.
Toad cat2 immobilizer, rear fog lamp cancel circuit, hidden starter switch and hazard warning switch.
Front and rear towing/securing eyes (major job in my trailer getting underneath to fit tie down straps on previous build).
Custom made radiator with built in header tank, used the standard oil cooler system on this one as we wanted to keep the engine bay as clean and simple as possible.
