Wasted in the region of £500 and a full 24 hrs of my time. Sat in the car throttle cable snaps we fix this and go for a drive stop off at fuel station and discover no reverse gear. I am the one who had his time and money wasted.

Shabwon and I spoke on the phone after he won the auction. There was no problem with reverse gear when I sold the car so that would suggest it's probably something that the new owner has disturbed when removing and refitting the engine.
I had the gearbox fully stripped, checked and new seals etc and there was no faults with it, I also fitted a new genuine Honda clutch so I am sure it's a simple fix and still a huge bargain at £10,200 IMHO.
Who knows maybe it will do less this time ?
The photo's of the car that he has listed don't do it justice, there are hundreds in my build which he could use and sure he has a camera?
The photo even has my old cherished plate which is 13 plate so makes the car look older, as it's actually a 16 plate. No mention of the mileage either which I believe is only about 350 miles from new.

I can't afford to buy it at the moment as I have invested everything into my software business which is in it's first year of trading.
I am still planning to build again, but I am going to design the chassis myself based loosely on the Ariel Nomad with Honda power again.

This time it did £8,100 and unsold. I suspect the reserve is set at £10k.
