I am selling my part built MEV Rocket Kit car.
I am looking for reasonable offers
The car is a rolling chassis with various other parts fitted.
A list of what has been done is below: -
• Chassis Prepared and painted (the chassis is black as per one of the pictures. The Red wrapping is just so the paintwork does not get damaged)
• Floor panels fitted
• Engine bay panels
• Footwell panels
• Brand new suspension fitted all round
• Brand new Alloy Wheels and Tyres (cost over £1000 for these)
• New steering rack
• Steering column and ignition assembly
• Brand new pedal assembly with willwood pedals
• Braking system fitted
• New performance Brake callipers
• New Performance Discs
• Braided Brake hoses all round
• Handbrake
• Gear lever and assembly
• Heater pipes from radiator to rear engine bay
• New radiator
• New Radiator Fan
• Front housing and grills
I have the following parts that are all brand new ready to compete the car: -
• Fuel tank and all fittings
• Drive shafts
• Wiring Loom
• All lights, indicators etc
• All switches and switch gear
• Performance brake pads
• Black GRP body work all prepared and ready to fit
I have the following parts from the donor car: -
• 2.0L engine that has been reconditioned and had the head skimmed and ported
• The head has brand new fast road cams fitted
• All other donor parts that may fit the car if needed.
The only major components I can think of that are needed to complete the car is: -
• Gearbox
• Engine Mounts
• Seats
This car could be completed from this point within 50 to 100 hours with very little further investment
I don't want to fully add up what I’ve spent on this so far but it’s in the region of 10k so someone can get a real bargain
I can supply pictures of the build that has taken place so far if required
