I thought I'd start my own thread to document my exocet build.
A bit of background :
I have been wanting to build my own car for ages after building and racing motorbikes (Ducati) for years.
My first thought was to get to donor and strip it right back, but I found myself an auction on TradeMe (NZ version of ebay) that the seller had already got the donor and striped it for me
he had already done the front suspension with all new parts and painted for POR15.
I made the purchase and collected the myriad of boxes and parts he had.
The rear subframe & arms had already ben sand blasted ready for paint.
Engine has been stripped and semi painted, put back together with all new bearing etc (he even gave me all the receipts) all the parts I need were in one of the 12 storage boxes I collected.
It's been slow going as I'm only doing it in my spare time, but so far I've got the rear subframe/suspension painted and new bushes installed.
I'm just in the process of putting all the pieces back together.
then I'll get onto the motor and drive train and get these sorted.
