With the bearing fully pressed in the disc does clear the caliper - but only just: There is only about 0.15 mm clearance on the inside, looks like it needs about 1.5 mm spacer between the disk and flange to centralise it.

Could someone please check the measurements on an upright against the sketch in my last post so we can see if it is the calipers or discs or bearings or uprights that are incorrect. Measurements mainly match what I have except the dimension from the inner face to the shoulder, drawing specifies 21 mm but I measure 21.8 to 22 mm from the upright. This would put the assembly about 1 mm further inboard than specs.

It appears the bearing housing is not in the correct position, maybe the flange on the steel section is too thick thus restricting it from landing in a position that finds the caliper central to the discs. You could shave a little off the calipers around the bolt area but they have to be 100% accurate so they pads sit flat. Below is a sketch of the original design, nothing has changed as far as I know. I checked some measurements of my uprights as they don't have the bearings in yet. On the diagram the dimension marked "3" for the depth of the lip holding the bearing in was 5mm. The depth from this lip to the circlip groove was 37mm as per the diagram.
From the top of the circlip groove to the other edge was also 5mm. To me this means the bearing won't be as close to the outside of the car. I think this ties up with chris2000 disc hitting the carrier.

Hi
i ended up putting a 1.5mm spacer behind the disc and shaving a little material off the carrier is clear now

Bearning are cheap, get some more. Sand the inside of the uprights where the bearing fit to make it smooth, 2000 grit or higher. As for the spacers, they are also required I order my from a company in the US , Pete Dove gave me their name.
