A local (to me) invented a socket wrench that had a trigger on it so you could spin a nut without moving the wrench itself, useful to get nuts on and off when in tight spaces where you could only move, perhaps, a "couple of clicks" on the ratchet.
Trouble is he went mad and when last heard of he was defending himself in court (no layer) which did not go well at all!

However, if cheap enough, it will be your best freind on those fasteners in ackward places where you only move the wrench a couple of notches, use a full wrench to get the last bit of tightness.

I was all set to buy one till I saw it’s limited to 25 nm Effin' boo. That'd be a hard no if so.

Following up on this thread, I found these two versions of this tool in Lidl today for £9.99 each. They don't have many so if you want one will need to be quick. 2 Sizes, smaller limited to 50NM, larger claims 150NM. I went for the larger with the higher torque, and it felt pretty solid thinking it was 1/2" drive, although I think its actually the size down, but haven't checked in the garage yet.

¿qué? the first thing in my reply is a link to the product, it's essentially the same idea, but with the added attraction that you can hit it really hard with the persuadertron. Good for dislodging hard-to-reach bolts there's no room to swing at.
